From her childhood to her latest X Games, this short documentary follows Megan Oldham's journey. Discover a part of her life, her family and friends, her first medals, her daily training sessions, and, above all, how she forever marked the history of women's freestyle skiing.
Our goal was to tell Megan’s story in a way that would be digestible not only for skiers but for everyone who is interested in an inspiring sports success story, regardless of gender.
Megan's Vision :
"Counting to Three" is a passion project of mine and a tribute to the rapid progression within freeskiing over the last decade. It’s about putting everything on the line for a chance to accomplish your dreams. It’s about pushing your capabilities, believing in yourself, and risking everything for an opportunity to be part of the movement that’s shaping the future of the sport.
For me, it started as a faraway dream that I wrote in a journal as a skier at summer camp. Over time, it flourished into an opportunity within arm's reach, and I knew I had to jump at it. I embarked on this mission with my siblings, who were a major reason for me starting the sport. Riding with them has always put a smile on my face and pushed me to try things I didn’t know I was capable of. Together, we put blood, sweat, and tears into this project in hopes of encouraging others to also push their boundaries.
