In 2017 we set out to make an urban ski movie. Filming this movie set in the Midwest came with its challenges. Living in Cincinnati, a city that sees 9 days of snowfall a year and less than a foot of snow annually, made things even more difficult. With the current changes in climate and warmer weather patterns in the southern Midwest, we saw even fewer snowy days than usual. We were forced to take to the road and travel to find snow. These three years of wandering around the Midwest and Great Lakes skiing and filming could be most easily described as Itinerant.
