This film “Unwritten” showcases a group of young women that were brought together from the creation of the original film “Novia.” We ended up living together in college and creating a nonprofit from the last film’s momentum called “Novia Productions” with aims to get more women in front and behind the camera within the snowsports industry. The last film was aimed to “inspire younger girls to find confidence within.” This film is a collection of 3 years of growth, friendship, badass skiing, and stepping into adulthood. It is giving back to the women that inspired me, Ellie (the director), to find confidence within myself in this industry and beyond. The idea “Unwritten” stems into the idea that we are all now graduating college – we wrote this story (film) and now our stories are going to begin… UNWRITTEN.
