Counter Methods - EVOLUTION
Follow along as a junior athlete, Nahli Curtis, forges her own path to success in the mountains. From off season training and preparation on the foothills of the MidWest to a crash course in big mountain backcountry riding. EVOLUTION will highlight the tremendous amount of effort a young female athlete puts in to reaching her goal of becoming a Freeride professional.
Connecting with other likeminded skiers & riders throughout the season is the backbone
of the story. Learning from each individual and they’re specific skill set will help
guide Nahli as the season progresses and she tackles bigger and more technical terrain.
It’s a big leap to go from mastering the short steeps of Mt.Bohemia to the enormous vertical elevations of the Western Ranges. Education will be key. Topics like avalanche safety and awareness, beacon/probe/shovel work, CPR & First Responder training will be a focus of this major transition.
Oh, and Nahli is hellbent on including and featuring other young women.
Expect to hear a battle cry for equality within the ski & snowboard industry!
