Open Sessions with The North Face

Ready for a full-on mountain day? The iF3 Open Session takes you on a ski touring adventure guided by professional mountain guides.

We’ll meet at the iF3 Base Camp at Les Grands Montets, where you’ll start the day by testing Smith and The North Face gear, which you’ll get to use during your tour.

The itinerary is still to be decided and will fully depend on the day’s weather and snow conditions. Participants will be divided into different groups depending on experience so everyone can enjoy the day to the fullest. Alongside the ski outing, you’ll review the key principles of mountain safety — essential knowledge for safe travel in alpine terrain.

After the session, join us at The North Face shop for a free après-ski drink to wrap up the day. 

Then we’ll head to the cinema to enjoy the iF3 film screenings (if you prefer, you can pick a session other than Saturday’s).

Price: €60 per person. Includes: a guided ski touring day with a certified mountain guide, gear testing, après-ski drink at The North Face shop, one ticket for a movie screening of your choice. 

Not included: Your ski lift pass and personal ski equipment. You will be able to rent gear from Snell Sport with a discount (you just need to show them your ticket to get the discount).

⚠️ You will be navigating alpine terrain and therefore a safety kit (avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe) is mandatory and not provided.
