Pink Duct Tape is the first project to come from the Dead Barbies following their breakout performance at WSSF Intersection 2023.
‘Pink Duct Tape is an unplanned and raw look at our first season sledding and filming. A lot of people said we couldn’t film a project our first year in the cunch, and they were only kinda right. We didn’t really go out there with a plan or vision other than having fun, figuring it out, and filming it. We all come from competitive backgrounds, and we’re all pretty over that, and just want to ride with our friends and capture the moments that would make 12 year old us want to move to Whistler and be a semi washed up skier/boarder.’
This project is completely amateur and self made top to bottom, and we all have normal people jobs (Meg is in school as well). A year ago most of us had never ridden a snowmobile. If you want to make a movie, you should go do it. It’s all really fun unless you’re the producer and you have a 2016 MacBook and don't know how to use premier pro.
