„A Different Path - Zuza’s story” is a project, which is a combination of documentary and sports film. We want to show the unique story of a girl who, despite a complete lack of background pursues her skiing dreams thanks to her passion. We want the film to be interesting for people who are not very involved in skiing, thanks to the story it tells. And also to be on a high sporting level to meet the expectations of viewers eager for impressive skiing shots.
The film is the story of Zuza Witych a freerider from Lodz, Poland.
You will learn about her crazy story full of passion for extreme sports. You'll find out how to start freeski training in a flat city 150m a.s.l and what it takes to fight with the best during the FWT.
It all started in ?ód?, located "only" 500 km from the mountains.
Zuza started her skiing adventure very late, but once she got to know the sport, she fell in love with it to no end. The film tells the story of how Zuza decided to give everything she could for her passion for skiing, overcoming countless obstacles and difficulties.
Her adventure began with freeskiing, it was her first love, she later became Poland's best freestyle skier.
Further on in the film, we learn that the next and the most important stage of her skiing adventure would be freeride, which she met thanks to her boyfriend, Alex Neurohr, a ex-professional Swiss BC rider.
After moving to Swiss, Zuza will try her hand at the FWQ competition, wins the European FWQ series in only 2 seasons and qualifies for the elite FWT.
Subsequently, the film tells the story of her adventure with competing on the big stage, the emotions that come with it, the ups and downs. We'll go behind the scenes of pro freeriding, we'll go through several FWT seasons from the inside. While pursuing her dreams, she goes through numerous injuries and challenges, which shows the other side of the coin.
Zuza's life is also a beautiful story of love, shared aspirations , you will learn about her motivations and what inspires her to keep progressing!
