Felix, a professional freerider, faces a unique challenge: he is to test the latest Freeride AI app called "FreerAIde," developed specifically for adventurous skiers. This innovative app offers everything one could imagine – from assisted route planning to live navigation and even a holographic avatar that accompanies Felix on the mountain, seemingly skiing on its own. What begins as an impressive high-tech experience quickly transforms into an adventure full of surprises, mishaps, and philosophical questions. While Felix initially enjoys the benefits of the app, he increasingly finds himself in conflict with the AI, which starts to become more autonomous.
The film "FreerAIde" invites viewers on a humorous and thought-provoking journey: how far should and do we want to rely on technology? What is real, and what is merely fiction? This winter comedy entertainingly raises the question of whether we maintain control over technology or if it starts to control us.
