At the age of 24, Jay Claus started construction on a remote ski lodge in Alaska's Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. 13.2 million acres of remote wilderness, no roads, and no helicopters. 11 years later, Tebay: The Dreamscape stars these mountains, the human-powered skiers, the ski planes, the pilots, and the guides of this enchanting place. Capturing the reality of a dream brought to life, the film conveys an emotional connection with the place through audio/visual intensity. Directed by mountain guide Tyler Reid, Tebay: The Dreamscape features poetic narration written by fellow guide Drew Lovell, read by Chamonix legend Michael "Bird" Shaffer. Skiing inspiration is provided by Michelle Parker and Lucy Sackbauer along with the guides and pilots, captured with magical cinematography from Ben Sturgulewski, Brendan Wells, and Reid. A short film about dreams, big mountain skiing "from the ground up", and backcountry flying in the Alaskan wilderness.
