Amie Ski: Blue Hour

Donate to help iF3

A spirited skier caught in the enigma of life's in-betweens.

Where does joy live? Is it on the high peaks, within the deepest pow turns? It is in life’s accomplishments, the goals checked off the list? Is it gobbled up by the valleys of life, the natural lows? What happens when you find yourself in limbo? In a season, in a career, in life… Is it possible to find the weightless shift in energy, the audible breathing between slashes in the powdery snow? Can you embrace the magic in the mundane?

Blue Hour is a short, 3 min art film exploring the quiet moments, between dreams, between highs, between storms, between phases… in between, where the joy is found in dreaming about what's next, the merriment in the middle, and the treasure discovered in the transformation can exist. The true essence of living lies not just in the peaks and powdery slopes but in the subtle, magical moments that happen in between turns.
