Shock of Dawn is a primordial love letter to the mountains- a showcase of the incredible lines Yu Sasaki has been putting down this year, paired with a triptych of poetry. Inspired by the intangible sensations we encounter in these powerfully liminal spaces- our film highlights a mountain's ability to transport us to another dimension. Audiences will leave feeling the deep love that we hold for these spaces- yet the humility and power that they evoke.
