The Alps is a ski travel film built around a simple premise: fly in, follow the snow, see what happens. No fixed itinerary, just a cast of progressive freeriders moving through Europe, guided by the forecast and a sense of curiosity.
The journey begins at the sea. The crew lands in Liguria, on the Italian coast, before heading north in search of winter. What follows is a travelogue as much as a ski film. The route pushes through the French Alps, navigating sketchy conditions and chasing whatever the mountains are offering, before the trip finds its conclusion in the Swiss Alps. Freeride hotspots and lesser-known local gems alike, with the skiing woven into the broader texture of being on the road: public transport, wrong turns, apres, new people, and the particular magic of European winter.
