Us and Them - A Disabled Ski Film

Donate to help iF3

Us and Them is a film created to challenge the current narrative surrounding disabled snowsports athletes and the way disability is often portrayed in media. The current narrative for disabled conent will generally force the viewer to take pity and feel sorry for the subject.

This film flips that narrative. It focuses on the skiing its self, no sob stories. Us and Them is an entirely self funded film produced by the athletes. This gave them, the freedom to create the film and portray disabled skiing exactly how we wanted.

This film is shot entirely in the Otago and Mackenzie regions of the South Island of New Zealand.
