The year is 2022 and the world appears to be going to hell in a handbasket, or at least that's what the media would like us to think. Our experience of Life is a product of where we choose to focus our attention. While it is easy to get sucked into the negative news vortex, it is equally as easy to pause and make an effort to notice what is awesome in the world right now. On any given day there are armies of well-wishers protecting old-growth forests, communities banding together to support families who have been displaced by war, strangers holding the door open for one another, and a million other kind deeds taking place across the planet. Choosing to see the good is less about pretending the world is ok and more about contributing to the energy that we want to see flourish in the world. Cedar Dreams is a product of the desire to leverage Snowboarding to create a broader positive impact. We aim to cultivate something that goes beyond simply a few minutes of entertainment following an entire season of blood sweat and tears. As a collective of riders who share a passion for environmental conservation, we have joined forces with One Tree Planted to work towards planting an entire FOREST with our snowboard movie. By sharing with friends, donating to receive a digital download, or purchasing merch, everyone who supports Cedar Dreams will be joining us on the mission to plant 10,000 trees by 2024.
