Wayward is a feature documentary about the women who changed snowboarding by challenging the status-quo and accomplishing what was once though impossible. Spanning 4 decades of progression, the film weaves together rare archival footage and firsthand accounts from pioneering athletes who fought for visibility, opportunity, and respect in a male-dominated industry. As the sport evolves and new generations push boundaries further than ever before, Wayward examines what it took to get here, and what still lies ahead. This is a story of resilience, rebellion, and the unsung heroines who shaped a sport & a culture into what it is today.
