While everybody keeps silent during the pandemic crisis, forced to live in solitude, Aaron Durogati, twice paragliding world champion, mountaineer, expert skier, has decided to make the mountain his home by living a new adventure in a place relatively close to him, and yet so far away.
The athlete, who traced new tracks in the Chaukhi Dolomites on the border between Russia and Georgia, has faced the mountains he knows very well, those overlooking Merano, in a rediscovery game full of new questions, tracing paths never imagined before. Matthias Weger, kayaking champion, has accompanied him during this adventure.
A challenge experienced in extreme conditions, with the sole aim of conquering peaks and tracing new tracks using every possible technique, from alpine skiing to speed riding and paragliding.
From December to April, Aaroon and Matthias have immersed themselves in a surreal setting, along an always changing mountain range. The tent set up at 2,200 meters above sea level, near the Sopranes lakes, becoming a resting point for the body and mind, where you can savour the achievements and relive the daily challenges.
A place to listen to the silence of the peaks standing in the way of other silences. A pristine place to spiritually reconnect to the mountains, looking at them with different eyes, from other points of view, asking new questions.
